Vans Skate Authentic High LTD Shoes Andrew Allen in White and Hockey. A three part collaboration designed in collaboration with shared Hockey Skateboards team rider Andrew Allen, these custom Vans Skate Authentic Highs also arrive as part of Vans’ all-new Skate Classics collection for 2021. Paying homage to personal tributes and progressive, skate-centric design, these high top skate shoes are styled in a shade of white on white, with the classic wrap around foxing complemented by tonal auxetic bumper overlays and Vans’ grippy Waffle outsole styled beneath. A rubberised exterior forefoot knurled ollie patch helps keep abrasions, scuffs and scrapes at bay, whilst the shatter heel tab across the rear provides additional structural support as and when required. A comfortable and impact absorbent PopCush sockliner remains true to classic Vans styling, whilst the DURACAP vamp underlays complement the resilient 10oz cotton canvas uppers for further reinforced coverage. Interchangeable custom ‘Hockey’ and ‘Eyes Without A Face’ flattened laces keep the tongue securely fastened across the natural arch of the foot, whilst the inner medial collar is marked with hand-drawn ‘Andrew Allen’ embroidery as a manner of commemorating this release. Reference to Allen’s beloved canine companion Ronnie can be seen sewn into the collar, whilst Vans’ all new checkerboard flag label is mirrored by revised ‘Off The Wall Skateboarding’ heel scabs on the rear.
