Designed in collaboration with recently appointed team rider Andrew Reynolds and ultimately inspired by classic ‘90s skateboarding nostalgia, the Vans Skate Half Cab ‘92 arrives as the latest addition to the brand’s evolving Skate Classics collection. Styled with uppers crafted from a mixture of premium suede, denim and heavyweight canvas, these resilient mid collared skate shoes have been revised to feature a deeper knurl texture, increased DURACAP underlays and a reconstructed molded heel for further structural support and control. Vans’ legendary PopCush™ footbed and SickStick™ gum rubber compound is mirrored by a gripped Waffle underfoot tread for all-terrain functionality, whilst the wrap around heightened foxings and the crisp white toe bumper overlays provide further abrasion resistance when it comes to tackling unexpected scuffs and scrapes. Double tracked stitchings accentuate the trims of each streamlined suede overlay, with the recessed 6 eyelet lacing system keeping the ‘Vans Reynolds’ checkerboard tongue securely fastened across the natural arch of the foot. The bold black colouring of the elastic side strapped tongue feeds into the tonal lined collar to complement the monochrome embroidered ‘Half Cab’ brand patch, with both the rear facing checkerboard flag label and the ‘Off The Wall Skateboarding’ heel scabs styled with noted reference to the profile’s all-new Skate Classics assignment.
