Vans Skate Old Skool Shoes Krooked By Natas For Ray in Red. Part of the brand’s Skate Classics collection and designed in partnership with Mark Gonzales’ Krooked Skateboards and skater Natas Kaupas, the Vans Skate Old Skool is a custom designed signature silhouette assigned to team rider Ray Barbee. Styled with black suede and printed red canvas uppers, this signature skateboard shoe features a revised DURACAP construction, an improved two-part foxing and a Pop Cush footbed for increased comfort. A molded heel counter and rubber Waffle outsole deliver maximised support and grip, whilst the all-new tongue straps provide a locked-in fit beneath the recessed eight eyelet lacing system. Beneath the blue coloured side wall stripes, a creative character print is repeated in contrasting shades of black, with Vans’ all-new Skate Classics checkerboard flag label visibly displayed. Finished with custom ‘Vans Krooked by Natas for Ray Barbee’ insoles and with the brand’s collection exclusive ‘Vans Off The Wall Skateboarding’ heel scabs.

Known for his part in Powell Peralta’s ‘Ban This’ edit and his assignment to the Bones Brigade, pro-rider and musician Ray Barbee has remained a pillar of influence since joining the Vans skate team in ‘89. Backed by his recent Vans x Leica D-Lux collaboration and by his work alongside fellow Bones Brigade skater Tommy Guerrero, Barbee’s unique sense of character and style are traits that continue to inspire many across the international skate community.
