Vans Skate Slip-On Shoes (Krooked By Natas For Ray) in Black. A four-part collaboration designed in partnership with Mark Gonzales’ Krooked Skateboards and Natas Kaupas, the Vans Skate Slip-On arrives as a custom designed signature silhouette for team rider Ray Barbee. Part of the brand’s Skate Classics collection and styled with printed canvas uppers, these low collar skateboard shoes feature a Pop Cush footbed, a molded heel counter and a rubber Waffle outsole for maximised grip. A new two-part foxing fuses the outsole to the upper, whilst the elasticated tongue straps provide a locked-in fit to suit the design’s revised DURACAP shape. Printed across the toe box, mirrored blue and red characters are displayed on top of grey coloured geometric shapes that are also printed across the heel, with the custom ‘Vans Krooked by Natas for Ray Barbee’ insoles paired with matching outsole detailing. Finished with padded collars and Vans’ all-new Skate Classics collection checkerboard flag label and ‘Off The Wall Skateboarding’ heel scabs.

Team rider since 1989 and known for his appearance in Powell Peralta’s ‘Ban This’, artist and skater Ray Barbee remains a pillar of creative influence across the skate community. Backed by his recent collaboration with Vans and Leica D-Lux as well as by record releases alongside the likes of Tommy Guerrero, Barbee’s ever-positive attitude is one that never ceases to inspire many like minded skaters across the world.
